Interoute Launches Ethernet Clear and Ethernet Flex
Interoute - The fast ethernet network, now has two new Ethernet products, Ethernet Flex and Ethernet Clear. Ethernet Flex is aimed at customers who need flexible bandwidth and architecture options whilst Ethernet Clear provides all the benefits and familiarity of SDH or wavelength based services but with a low cost Ethernet interface. Both products now include a brand new Ethernet Reach option enabling third party SDH circuits to be used to cost effectively bring Interoute Ethernet to more businesses than ever before.
The Managed Ethernet option is available for Ethernet Flex customers providing managed CPE so that Interoute can proactively monitor and guarantee the service right up to customer premises including any 3rd party access circuits. Performance statistics collected from the CPE are available to customers from the Interoute Hub website providing confirmation of service performance and cost effective use of bandwidth.
Both of Interoute’s Ethernet connection services take the familiarity of the world’s most prevalent LAN solution and, with the assistance of carrier class technology extends its reach across the Wide Area Network. This provides the customer with a cost effective Ethernet solution between the major data/hosting centres, carrier hotels and Internet exchanges across 22 major European cities as well as New York, Washington DC and Dubai.
